Every semester we bring in CSU’s Brewing Sciences and Technology class to guest brew with us. This year the class brewed an American style Brown Ale. Hints of cocoa coffee and citrusy hops mingle in the aroma. A prominent bitterness balances a light caramel sweetness. Hop flavors linger in the finish reminiscent of tropical fruit and citrus. Dark roasted malts develop a complex blend of toffee and dark roasted coffee as the beer warms.
