One of the first beer styles to incorporate all of the mash runnings rather than splitting a brew into three different beers brown porter is often referred to as an “entire” porter. A heavy proportion of brown malt and pale chocolate malt gives a dry toasty malt aroma and flavor. Mild hop bitterness keeps the balance malt focused.
