For the 20th semester in a row we hosted CSU’s fermentation majors to brew with us. They wrote the recipe for this India Brown Ale and we scaled it up to our system. A mash up of brown ale and IPA, Taste of Space has an aggressive hop profile that is balanced by a smooth malt character. Notes of citrus and pine meld with caramel and dry toast. The yeast strain propagated by the class adds some fruity esters and a subtle spiciness. Fruity hop flavors linger in the finish.
