Every semester the students in the CSU Brewing Sciences class create a guest brew with us. This semester we made a Belgian style Saison IPA named after Prof. Jack Avens. The unique character of French Saison yeast dominates the aroma and flavor. Strong notes of citrus-like hops compliment the spicy floral yeast expression. A very dry malt profile allows the bitterness and hops to shine through.
