Mark Boelman the winner of Hops and Berries’ 2012 Hopularity competition came in and brewed his India Brown Ale recipe with us. By boosting hop levels and increasing the alcoholic strength Mark pushed the bounds of standard brown ale towards an IPA. The result an IBA has prominent hop flavors and a pronounced bitterness. Light toasty malt sweetness balances the finish.
