Brighid’s Irish Red

The Celtic goddess Brighid was considered a patroness of poetry worshiped for her sway and nobility. As tribute to this Celtic goddess we brought our close friend Alex Grote in to brew this special Irish Red Ale. Alex strayed from tradition using 20% malted rye for this recipe. The beer finished dry with a sweet malty overtone. There is a distinct spicyness from all the rye but the nose has slight hints of fruit and caramel malt. Those who attempt to cross the beer are said to have been cursed to go insane…Cheers!!
