Our good friend Jester Goldman a real spassmacher (fun maker) and home brewer extraordinaire brought his smoked lager recipe in and brewed with us. The result is Spassmacher Rauchbier. Modeled after traditional German smoked beers Spassmacher’s rich maltiness and distinct smoked character comes from a hefty per- centage of German smoked barley. The flavors are complex the smoke does not overwhelm the palette but accentuates the smooth malt. Prost!
