The color is dark opaque… sirius black. Black malt and earthy hops dominate the aroma. Amercian ale yeast contributes a relatively neutral yeast character with only hints of fruitiness. Moderate hop bitterness balances the dark malt and caramel flavors. Roasty dryness lingers thru the finish with malt flavors reminiscent of coffee and cocoa.
