This light yet flavorful lager recipe was developed in collaboration with local gypsy swing rockers The Happy Dapples. Hop flavors and aromas dominate but the bitterness is low making this beer drinkable even for the hop-weary folks out there. The classic Saaz hop drives the flavor with hints of citrus and a slight herbal quality. Late additions of Nelson Sauvin hops bring a unique fruitiness with a hint of white wine. The hops meld together for an “old meets new” sort of experience. Lager meets pale ale classic hops meet newer varieties gypsy swing meets jazz rock… Hold on tight you’re in for a treat!
